Paul Rand

Paul Rand is a famous logo designer. Famously known for his UPS, ABC, and and IBM logos, he has designed a number of different things. He followed the principles of Swiss Graphic Design. He was also very influenced by modernism, and he loved the works of  Paul Cézanne to Jan Tschichold.

Jan Tschichold

Tschichold was a book designer and typographer. He was trained in calligraphy, and his calligraphic work set him apart from most designers at the time. Tschichold played around with Modernist design principles as well as Swiss Graphic Design. Some famous typefaces Tschichold created are the following: Zues, Sabon, Transit, and Saskia.

Max Huber

Max Huber was a Swiss Graphic Designer. He was first employed with an advertising agency in Zurich, and he later on joined "the group Allianz and, in 1942, he exhibits his abstract work at the Kunsthaus Zurich with Max Bill, Leo Leuppi, Richard Lohse and Camille Graeser." He also designed a series of records covers, music magazines, and the set stage for a jazz festival. Huber was big on bold colors and using shapes within his work. He received many awards for his work.

Robert Massin

Massin was a French graphic designer, typographer, and art director. He is most well known for his experimentation with typographic composition. "He began working as a designer following World War II. Massin's immediate influence in the 1950s was innovative French book designer Pierre Faucheux. Faucheux emphasized the idea that each new book should be a new object determined by type choice, proportion and déroulement, the development of a visual concept over several pages." Massin produced visual works as well as published books.

Emil Ruder

Emily Ruder was Swiss typographer and graphic designer. He worked with Armin Hofmann. "He is distinguishable in the field of typography for developing a holistic approach to designing and teaching that comprised philosophy, theory and a systematic practical methodology." He was one of the major contributors to the Swiss style.
